Chapter 1: Hardware insertion.
Attach each
mechanism to the
face of the side
panels as shown
in Fig. 1D using qty
5 bolts and qty 4
nylock nuts found in
Hardware Card #2.
The Bolts will go in
from the opposite
side of the panel
shown. The panels
have a recessed area
that the bolts will fit
into.

When inserting cam fittings, place the panel on a flat, solid surface so that the force of the mallet
is distributed evenly to the underlying surface.

Referring to Fig. 1C, lay parts on floor
and insert cam fittings from hardware
package #6 in holes marked with a
green
circle using a rubber mallet (see
note at the bottom of this page). Cam
fittings should be inserted with the flat
part of the cam fitting flush with the
side of the panel.

Divider
The quantity of holes along the
“Top
Nailer”
and
“Mid Nailer”
will vary
depending on bed size. Insert cam screws/
fittings in each hole along these panels.
Red
locations use a bolt and nut. The
green
locations will use a bolt and thread into the T-Nut.
