8. TIPS FOR MAKING A GOOD
CUP OF COFFEE
To give your coffee a better flavour and
aroma, we advise using recently ground
coffee.
The coffee should be medium ground and
not too fine.
Store the coffee in a dry place. Once the
packet of coffee has been opened, you
may store it tightly closed in the refrigerator
to ensure that it maintains its aroma.
The best coffee is obtained by drinking it as
soon as it is made.
9. CLEANING
Before cleaning your coffee maker,
switch off the on/off switch , unplug the
appliance and wait until it has cooled.
Clean the filter holder
(9)
, the filter
(8)
, the
jug
(4)
and the lid
(3)
of the jug in warm
soapy water, rinse in clean water and dry
the parts before reassembling them.
Clean the exterior of the coffee maker with
a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or
abrasive products to clean it.
Do not immerse the appliance in water
or run it under the tap.
10. REMOVING LIMESCALE
Depending on how hard the water is in
your area and how often you use the coffee
maker, it is possible that the pipes may
become blocked due to the lime content
of the water. This is noticeable when the
filtering process lasts longer than usual.
In order to avoid this, you should remove
limescale from the coffee maker using
products suitable for coffee makers which
are readily available on the market.
