WARNING. It is recommended to
install the video handset in a dry

WALL MOUNTINGS
XKP/200+XKP/85

Set the embedding box (three-
module version, or round with 65
mm) so that it is flush with the wall at
an appropriate height for the user.
Join the mountings using the two
joints, figure 2, and insert the two
rectangular hole plugs on the outer
sides, figure 1.
Remove the connecting cable con-
nector from the XKP/200 mounting
slot and pass it through the relevant
hole towards the XKP/85 mounting,
figure 2. 
Fix the mounting to the wall by
means of provided retainers and
screws, figure 3, 4 and 5.

Having made the connections, posi-
tion the wires so that they do not

pass over the XKP/200 mounting’s
lower fastening screws.

XV/200 (XVC/200) MONITOR
MODULE WITH XC/221 
HAND-FREE MODULE

Make sure the locking latch is in the
left position 

, figure 6.

Insert the monitor module on the
XKP/200 wall mounting and insert it
on the actual support by pushing
downwards, figure 6. In order to pre-
vent the module from falling subse-
quent to accidental knocks, secure it
to the mounting by moving the
locking latch to the right, figure 6.
Pass the monitor module connecting
cable through the opening in the
base of the handset module, figure  7.
Insert the base on the XKP/85 moun-
ting and insert it on the actual sup-
port by pushing downwards, figure 7.
Secure the base in place using the
screw supplied and make the connec-
tion between the modules, figure 8.
Fit the handset module housing and
apply the two side panels, figure 9,
10 and 11.

Function of jumpers SW1 and SW2
(XKP/200)

The XKP/200 mounting is supplied
with the jumpers on. Their function
and position is indicated in the
equipment which calls for their use,
figure 17.

Connector CNV (XKP/200)

To be used to make the connection
between the monitor module and the
image storage module.

Function of jumper SW1 (XC/221)

Normally supplied ready inserted.
Remove the jumper in the event the
volume of the call note is to be atte-
nuated, figure 18.

Connector CNH (XC/221)

To be used to make the connection
between the monitor module and the
hand-free module.

The slow blow protection fuse F1 - T
500 mA - is located on XKP/200 prin-
ted card (Fuse: F=fast, T=slow).

Dopo aver tolto il mobile (vite fronta-
le di fig. 12, in basso), fissare la base
direttamente al muro (fig. 13A),
oppure alla scatola incasso (fig. 13B
o 13C).
Su pareti non perfettamente piane
evitare il serraggio eccessivo delle
viti. Effettuare i collegamenti e mon-
tare il mobile del modulo citofono
(fig. 14).
Applicare i due fianchi (fig. 15 e 16).

Normalmente viene fornito inserito.
Togliere il ponticello qualora si voglia
attenuare il volume della nota di
chiamata (fig. 18).

SMALTIMENTO

Assicurarsi che il materiale d’imbal-
laggio non venga disperso nell’am-
biente, ma smaltito seguendo le
norme vigenti nel paese di utilizzo
del prodotto.
Alla fine del ciclo di vita dell’appa-
recchio evitare che lo stesso venga
disperso nell’ambiente.
Lo smaltimento dell’apparecchiatura
deve essere effettuato rispettando le
norme vigenti e privilegiando il rici-
claggio delle sue parti costituenti.
Sui componenti, per cui è previsto lo
smaltimento con riciclaggio, sono
riportati il simbolo e la sigla del
materiale.
