9. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the 5 indicated screws from the Inside 

Treadle Covers.

10. Remove the Inside Treadle Covers.

11. Using a 13 mm (1/2”) wrench, remove the indicated bolts from the Treadle 

Crossbar on the inside of each of the Treadles.

12. Adjust the Treadles until they are at the same height, and place a static object 

(like a book or box) under the Treadles to support them.

The Treadle will fall abruptly if not supported. Keep hands away from the 

inside of the Treadles to avoid possible serious injury.
