9.4 Sterilisation packaging

Before sterilisation, the instrument or its individual parts must be placed in suitable

disposable sterilisation packaging (single or double packaging) and/or a suitable

sterilisation container.
The packaging must meet the following requirements:

•

BS EN ISO 11607-1

•

Suitable for steam sterilisation (resistant to temperatures up to 137°C, sufficient steam

permeability)

•

Regular maintenance (sterilisation container)

10 Ambient conditions

10.1 Storage and transport
The original packaging is intended for storing non-sterile instruments prior to their first

use. Protect the packaging from moisture and both direct and indirect sunlight.

CAUTION

Brittle or defective insulation can burn the patient!



Replace instrument components if there is any damaged insulation.

The shipping box is not intended for storing the sterilised device.
