System settings
When the currently setting have been saved,

Adjusting the sensitivity of
the key pads (Pad Sens)
1.
From the pattern or song play screen,
press [EDIT].
The edit menu screen appears.

Move the cursor to the “PAD” icon and
press [ENTER].
The Pad Setting screen appears.

Use the VALUE dial to adjust the value.
Range: 0–10
Smaller values will decrease the sensitivity;
you’ll have to strike a pad strongly to
produce a strong accent, but it will be easier
to create subtle variations in dynamics.
Larger values will increase the sensitivity;
you’ll be able to produce strong accents
without having to strike a pad strongly, but it
will be more difficult to create subtle
variations in dynamics.
4.
When you’ve made the setting, press
[EXIT].
The message “Now writing...” will appear,
and the currently setting will be saved.
When the currently setting have been saved,

Tuning the bass part
Here’s how to set the reference pitch of the bass
part.
* The master tune setting is shared with the tuner reference
pitch (p. 91).
* This will not affect the drum part.

From the pattern or song play screen,
press [EDIT].

Move the cursor to the “MASTER TUNE”
icon and press [ENTER].
The Master Tune edit screen appears.
