Maintenance and care
Maintenance
The Bösendorfer CEUS was purposefully designed so that voicing and tuning can be performed prac-
tically identically to a typical grand piano. The fallboard may be removed, like on a normal grand pi-
ano. No cables are connected to the piano. For careful removal of the keyboard, a data cable on the
interior wall of the piano’s bass side must be removed. It is easily accessible from the front. Piano
technicians can find downloadable details in the Bösendorfer CEUS Piano Technicians’ User Manual.
Care
CEUS requires the same environmental conditions as any other Bösendorfer grand piano.
Please make sure that the air humidity does not fall below 40% and the room temperature and hu-
midity do not fluctuate heavily.
