Boschert Notcher Top Cylinder Oil Measuring Rod Specifications
Amendment to 6.1
If measuring rod shipped with machine is lost, one can easily be made to the following
specifications.
The two upper cylinders are filled with 0.5 liter of Shell Tellus 933 or equal oil.
The oil level should be checked every six months.
1. Move the ram to the topmost position
2. Remove the M6x35mm screw from the top of the pentagon shaped cover.
3. Insert the measuring rod into the hole (through the cylinder retaining bolt). The oil level
should be between the two marks on the measuring rod.
4. If not, add oil, making sure not to overfill.
5. Replace the M6 set screw.
