(Starting Your Dishwasher, continued)
WARNING: AS A SAFETY FEATURE,
THE DISHWASHER WILL AUTOMATI-
CALLY TURN ITSELF OFF WHENEVER
THE DOOR IS OPENED. HOWEVER,
YOU COULD BE SERIOUSLY SCALDED
IF YOU OPEN THE DISHWASHER DOOR
QUICKLY DURING A WASH OR RINSE
CYCLE. ALWAYS WAIT AT LEAST 10
SECONDS (OR UNTIL WATER NOISES
STOP) BEFORE FULLY OPENING THE
DISHWASHER DOOR.
Once you start the dishwasher, leave the
dishwasher door shut until it finishes the
cycle. At the end of the cycle the dish-
washer will stop, and the “Clean” light and
the “Sanitized” light will illumninate.
When the “Sanitized” light illuminates, it
means that the wash cycle has met very
strict requirements of time and temperature
for certification as “Sanitized” by the
National Sanitation Foundation. For more
information on this certification, turn the
section titled “The NSF Symbol” on page 7
in this manual.
