10.2  Mounting Embedded Terminals – Installation notes

●

Avoid  mounting  locations  exposed  to  direct  UV  or  sunlight,  as  the  screen

readability is reduced and additional heat development can occur

●

When  mounting  the  Embedded  Terminal,  ensure  an  easy  access  to  the  con-

nector panel (top side)

●

Provide a minimum space of 50 mm (on all sides of the device) for sufficient

cooling and cable routing

●

Use strain reliefs for all cables

●

Keep the maximum distance possible from interference sources

10.3  Mounting the Embedded Terminals VEP 30.5EFU

10.3.1  Mounting cut-out

Damage  to  the  front  panel  or  to  the  touch
screen  and  the  IP  degree  of  protection  is  not
maintained due to incorrect installation.

NOTICE

●

Mount the devices without mechanical stress

●

Provide a sufficiently sized front cut-out

●

Provide an even mounting surface

●

Ensure that no objects are squeezed
