Disassembly and replacement
Preparation of the disassembly
11.2
Decommission the overall system as described in the operating manual of the system.
Then prepare the disassembly of the bladder-type accumulator by proceeding as follows:
Depressurize the hydraulic system.
f
Make sure that the relevant parts of the system are depressurized and de-energized.
f
Realization of the disassembly
11.3
In order to disassemble the bladder-type accumulator, proceed as follows:
Slip hazard!
Slipping may lead to severe injuries. When covers are removed, unpressurized
residual oil may leak.
Immediately wipe off any leaking oil.
f
Risk of poisoning and injuries due to leaking hydraulic fluid!
The contact with hydraulic fluids leads to health hazards (e.g. eye injuries, skin
lesions, poisoning during inhalation).
Prior to putting into operation the accumulator, check the lines for wear and
f
tear as well as for any damage.
Wear protective gloves, safety goggles and appropriate work clothes.
f
Immediately consult a doctor, when hydraulic fluid comes into contact with
f
your eyes or penetrates your skin.
Crush injuries and fractures!
Falling or rolling bladder-type accumulators may lead to severe injuries.
Use appropriate lifting gear for the lifting of the bladder-type accumulator.
f
Secure the bladder-type accumulator against unintended rolling.
f
Risk of injury!
Parts flying around due to the residual pressure that is still present after the
discharge may lead to severe injuries.
Check the residual pressure in the bladder-type accumulator after the heating
f
up to the ambient temperature, before opening the gas valve.
Risk of injuries due to disassembly under pressure!
Damage of the bladder-type accumulators or risk of injury in case of disassembly
of the bladder-type accumulator, when the hydraulic system is under pressure.
Prior to commencing any works, depressurize the system.
