Installation
Fastening of the bladder-type accumulator by means of two clamps
Fig. 6:
The installation of the bladder-type accumulator comprises the following work steps:
Risk of poisoning and injuries due to leaking hydraulic fluid!
The contact with hydraulic fluids leads to health hazards (e.g. eye injuries, skin
lesions, poisoning during inhalation).
Slipping may lead to severe injuries.
When covers are removed, unpressurized
residual oil may leak.
Immediately wipe off any leaking oil.
f
Prior to putting into operation the accumulator, check the lines for wear and
f
tear as well as for any damage.
Wear protective gloves, safety goggles and appropriate work clothes.
f
Immediately consult a doctor, when hydraulic fluid comes into contact with
f
your eyes or penetrates your skin.
Remove the cover cap on the oil port.
f
Make sure that the oil port is clean and free from foreign debris.
f
Check that the port thread is intact.
f
Crush injuries and fractures!
Falling or rolling bladder-type accumulators may lead to severe injuries.
Use appropriate lifting gear for the lifting of the bladder-type accumulator.
f
Secure the bladder-type accumulator against unintended rolling.
f
Fix the bladder-type accumulator by means of appropriate lifting gear so as to
f
guarantee a safe support.
Put the bladder-type accumulator into the desired mounting position. The
f
accumulator must be secured in the vertical position by means of the lifting
gear.
Install the accumulator by either screwing the thread into the mounting adapter
f
or fasten with flanges.
