Your Indego
is intelligent
Logicut Intelligent Cutting –
How your Indego cuts efficiently.
To mow your Indego
▶ learns the shape of the cutting area it is working in
▶ learns the location of the objects within it: trees, flower beds, ponds, etc.
(only those objects that are marked out during installation are learnt)
How your Indego learns the lawn shape.
1
Mapping the cutting area
1. After setup your Indego will first map out the shape of the garden by following the perimeter wire.
Your Indego then builds up a map of the garden that is saved into its memory.
2. On initial mapping Indego follows the outside of the garden.
Note:
your Indego does not follow the wire to the inner boundaries.
During mapping your Indego will only follow the outer perimeter wire.
2
Learning the location of garden objects
marked out with the perimeter wire
1. Once your Indego has the cutting area mapped it can start to cut the grass.
2. After pressing “Mow Now” your Indego will leave the docking station and start to cut the grass
in parallel lanes. It continues cutting until it completes a section of the cutting area or until it
discovers an object that has been marked out using the perimeter wire. Your Indego will follow
it around to establish its shape.
3. Your Indego will then drive to the docking station or perimeter wire at the edge of the cutting area
to confirm the location of the object whilst mowing.
4. The new discovered object will be saved automatically in the map.
This process will be repeated with every object.
Note:
during the first 3 complete coverages/full cuts, your Indego will learn the location of the
objects within the garden. This is to make sure that all objects in the garden are discovered and
their location on the garden map is accurately logged.
Note:
your Indego may do longer lanes than 5 m.
If there are no more objects in the garden your Indego will continue to cut the grass as normal.
Border cutting
Prior to completing a full coverage your Indego will do a border
cut by going around the perimeter wire, to tidy up the edges.
Battery charging
Your Indego returns to the docking station every time it needs
recharging. When charging is complete it will return to mowing.
3
Intelligent mowing!
Once the lawn area has been mapped, your Indego is able to navigate the
lawn, cutting the grass in parallel lanes and avoiding objects before returning
to the docking station. Your Indego plans where it needs to cut the grass,
where it has cut the grass and also its route to and from the docking station.
This allows your Indego to complete the task of mowing more efficiently.
Note:
Allow mower to run for 3 full cuts to cover whole lawn area.
In order to leave a beautiful lawn, and reach difficult areas, your Indego will
change the direction of the lanes every time that it has finished a full coverage
of your lawn. So the next time it starts again it will start in a different direction
but always keeping the parallel lanes and its efficiency!
