Planning and design
The planning and design section tells how to design the delegate units within the DCN system,
and gives necessary data to understand the limitations.
4.1
Limits
The delegate units make part of the, so-called, active devices in the DCN system. In total, 245
active devices can be used within a DCN system. Make sure the limits are not exceeded when
you design the DCN system. In general, refer to the limitations as described within the DCN
system Installation and Operation manual.

Power consumption
The following table shows the power consumption of each delegate unit type used in the DCN
system.
