– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the support, please neither use any creams nor ointments on or
around it as they can destroy the material.
Fitting instructions
Slip your foot into the dressing aid provided. Then, grasp the upper edge of the
support and pull it over the slip-on aid until the tops of the ankles are in the rounded
pad recesses. Check the positioning of the support. When ready, pull the slip-on aid
out of the support at the front.
Stabilisation with a raised outer edge of the foot
(viewed from the rear, the strap points outwards):
1
Guide the Stabilo strap on the outer side of the ankle joint forwards diagonally
over the metatarsal downwards to the inner side of the foot.
2
In the next step, guide the strap through underneath the sole of the foot to the
outer side of the foot.
3
Then, draw the Stabilo strap upwards from the outer side diagonally over the
metatarsal to the inner side of the ankle joint again. Raise the outer edge of
the foot slightly here.
4
Finally, fasten it onto the outer side from behind.
Tip:
The tighter you tension the Stabilo strap, the better the stabilising effect.
