After using a cooking zone turn the toggle of the cooking zone knob to position
"0".

of the respective zone is off.

While the cooking zone is still hot, the

symbol indicates that there is
some residual heat. When the cooking zone has cooled down sufficiently,
the indicator is off.
Pot detection
Each cooking zone is equipped with a pot detection function. Before a cooking
zone can be switched on, you must place a suitable cooking pot with a
magnetisable base on the zone.

If the pot or pan is removed from the cooking zone during operation, the
energy transfer is interrupted and the display indicates

If an unsuitable pot is placed on the cooking zone,

display.
If no suitable pot is detected on the cooking zone after 10 minutes, the zone is
automatically switched off and can only be switched on again after the toggle has
been reset to its "0" position.
