... Maintenance and care
Cleaning toggles
■
When removing and mounting the toggles, do not confuse them, as they might
be designed to fit only onto a pin of a certain size.
■
Clean the toggles with a soft cloth or sponge, water and a conventional
stainless steel cleaner or
special care product
(Chromol, Caramba, etc).
■
Do
not
clean the toggles in the dishwasher.
Cleaning of burner covers and burner heads
Before cleaning the burner parts, allow the burner to cool down so
that
you can touch it with your hand without burning yourself
.
■
Clean the parts with hot washing liquid solution and a soft sponge or dish cloth
.
■
Never use abrasive or sharp utensils to remove food residue from the burner
parts
.
■
Do not clean the parts with aggressive chemicals, acids or solvents as this
could damage the burner
.
■
Scouring pads, sandpaper, abrasive detergents and steel wool pads cause
damage to the surface of the burner parts
.
■
Do not use acidic solutions (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.)
to clean enamelled
surfaces
.
■
Do
not
clean the burner parts in the dishwasher.
After you have cleaned the surface of the appliance, ensure that the burner
heads and covers are properly positioned, as the burner can otherwise not
be ignited.
Before replacing the burner heads and covers, ensure that they are
completely dry.
