Use and storage of the instruction manual
Please read the instructions carefully and thoroughly. Do not throw away the instructions. If you pass the article to somebody,
make sure that the person also gets this instruction manual.
Intended Use
The article is a decorative item. It is not suitable for illumination of a household room. The products intended for private – not
for commercial use. The item must not be used for purposes other than the purpose described in this manual, as this may
cause damage to the product or could injury a persons. For damages incurred as a result of improper use, no liability is
assumed. Further instructions and explanations are in the following text.
Safety
Warning
- A damaged or leaking item must not be used under any circumstances. It may not be put in water or other liquids.
- The product is not a toy and therefore should not be available to children. The cleaning and maintenance must not be carried
out by children.
- Do not look directly ionto the light of the Solar Garden Ball for a long time. This could be harmful to your eyes.
- The use of accessories and equipment parts that are not specifically recommended by the manufacturer may cause damage
and voids the warranty.
- Use only a fully assembled product.
- Keep the product away from heat, such as radiators, stoves and other heat-generating equipment.
Also avoid dust and sharp edges.
- Do not stick anything on the article and do not cover it.
- Do not place candles or other objects with fire on the product. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as coffee mugs,
on the article.
- Read the additional notes in the chapters cleaning and storage of this manual.

- The lamps use light-emitting diodes with an long lifespan. The lamps can not be changed.

Batteries
1. Caution - risk of explosion in case of improper replacement of the batteries.
2. Replace only with the same or equivalent type of battery (rechargeable batteries).
3. Batteries may not be exposed to excessive heat or the like as fire. The batteries could explode.
4. Always use the correct battery size and the correct battery type.
5. Change all batteries of a set at the same time.
6. Before inserting the batteries clean the battery contacts and the contacts in the product.
7. Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly. Make sure the polarity ( + and - ) is correct.
8. Remove exhausted batteries from the product and dispose them in a designated recyclingcontainer.
Removal of batteries
1. If the batteries are exhausted and can no longer be charged, replace them with an equivalent type of battery.
2. Unscrew the product using the supplied wrench.
3. Remove the six screws around the solar pane. Also remove also 2 screws on the board, which contains the LEDs.
4. Force open the black plate on the cap upwards. On the bottom you find the holder for the batteries.
5. Remove the batteries from the holder and dispose it properly. Use only batteries of the same type and take care of the correct
polarity.
6. Screw up the article again. Make sure that all bolts are tight.
7. Important!
After replacing the battery, screw the bottom cap with the item. Use the screwdriver and make sure that the cap is
securely screwed so that no moisture can penetrate into the article.
