Carefully unpack the pressure cooker and parts, and remove all
packaging materials. Compare all parts on the parts list page with the
contents of the packaging to ensure that you have all the required parts

of your pressure cooker.  Wash the REMOVABLE COOKING POT, LID and
SEALING GASKET in warm, soapy water to remove any dust that may have
accumulated during packaging. Wipe cord and pressure cooker housing

with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the cord or plug in water or other liquid.
Dry all parts thoroughly before use.

Throughout this manual any reference to parts of the pressure cooker will
appear bold and in caps so that you can easily reference it back to the
parts list.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION

•

Do not use the pressure cooker without liquid; this could damage the

  pressure cooker severely.

•

Do not use pressure cooker for storage purposes.

• TO PREVENT A SERIOUS SCALDING INJURY NEVER ATTEMPT TO FORCE

  THE PRESSURE COOKER LID OPEN.

If the lid has any resistance this means

that it is still under pressure. Forcing the lid open can cause hot liquids

and/or steam to escape from the pressure cooker and cause a scalding

  injury.
