Battery Electrolyte
These vehicles are equipped with a maintenance-free battery. Elec-
trolyte level can not be checked.
CAUTION:
Should any electrolyte spillage occur, immediately wash
off with a solution of baking soda and water to prevent damage
to vehicle components.
WARNING
Battery BLACK negative cable must always be disconnected first
and connected last.
WARNING
Never charge or boost battery while installed. Battery electro-
lyte contains sulfuric acid which is corrosive and poisonous. In
case of contact with skin, flush with water and call a physician
immediately.
WARNING
Should the battery casing be damaged, wear a suitable pair of
non-absorbent gloves when removing the battery by hand.
