Wind the rope tightly around drive pulley. When pulled, pulley must
rotate counterclockwise.
TYPICAL

Pull the rope using a sharp, crisp pull so the rope comes free of the drive
pulley.
Start engine as per usual manual starting.
Shutting Off the Engine
Release throttle lever and wait until engine has returned to idle speed.
Shut off the engine using either engine cut-out switch or tether cut-
out switch.
WARNING
When starting the snowmobile in an emergency situation, us-
ing drive pulley, do not reinstall the belt guard and return slow-
ly to have snowmobile repaired.
WARNING
Always remove tether cord cap when vehicle is not in opera-
tion in order to prevent accidental engine starting or to avoid
unauthorized use by children or others or theft.
