Troubleshooting

Problem:

The Strike light is constantly flashing.

Solution:

There is either an interference problem at the detector site or the trigger level is set too low.   This
can only be evaluated at the server.

Problem:

The Strike light flashes once per second.   The GPS light never comes on.

Solution:

The Lightning Sensor and GPS cables are swapped.   Unplug them from the LRX-1 and swap the
connections.

Problem:

The Server light(s) never stops flashing.  No server lights are illuminated constant green.

Solution:

This indicates the LRX-1 cannot connect to a server.  Since the LRX-1 comes preconfigured for a

valid server, either Boltek’s servers by default or customer server by special order, this proba

bly

indicates a network problem.
