Electrical system
1 The instrument cluster from
2D offers functions for road
and racetrack operation. On
the racetrack extensive data
can be saved for each lap
driven and then displayed
again. An infrared sensor
available as an optional ac-
cessory can be connected
for exact lap recording.
2 The onboard electrical sys-
tem features CAN bus tech-
nology. This enables the
high-performance control
units to communicate via a
wiring harness consisting of
just a few wires.
3 The wiring harness need
only be disconnected at one
connector to remove the
license-plate carrier.
4 The sensor of the shift-
ing assistant is connected
to the engine control unit.
The integrated software en-
sures an extremely short
interruption in pulling force,
enabling rapid upshifting
without clutch operation and
without reducing throttle
application.
5 The lighting functions are
controlled centrally in the
control unit of the cen-
tral motorcycle electronics.
There is no need for fuses
thanks to the use of switch-
able power modules.
