Once the calipers have
been removed, there is

a risk of the brake pads be-
ing pressed together to the
extent that they cannot be
slipped back over the brake
disk on reassembly.
Do not operate the handbrake
lever when the brake calipers
have been removed.

Carefully pull brake caliper
back and out until clear of
brake disks.

with OE BMW Motorrad ABS:

When pulling off left brake
caliper, make sure that
ABS sensor cable is not
damaged.

Place motorcycle on suit-
able auxiliary stand.

Remove screw
