Hints for a better ironing
IMPORTANT
Dont’ forget to keep the steam button K
constantly pressed while you are ironing;
instead, you should press it at regular intervals while
you press the fabric surface with the soleplate.
This avoids that drops of condensed steam form on
the fabric.
General warnings:
Always make sure that fabrics are perfectly dry
before starting ironing.
When a drop of dampness forms on the fabric,
press it with the hot soleplate until it has dried.
Never leave the soleplate on the fabric, without
moving it.
It is always advisable to iron coloured clothes after
having reversed them.
When ironing materials other than cotton, flax or
silk, it is always advisable to iron them taking the
precaution of putting a clean cotton cloth that
you can make by yourself or buy at a specialist
shop. Pleated trousers and skirts must be ironed
on their reverse side, so that the soleplate only
touches the inside part.
When you finish ironing, you can give the articles
their right pleat. If you wish to stress the pleat,
lay clothes on the iron board and press the hot
soleplate on the pleat, releasing steam at regular
intervals.
IMPORTANT
Always make a test first on a part of the clothing that
will not be seen once it is worn. This test is required
to make sure that the selected temperat

steam flow do not damage the fabric.
