CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Note:
Always disconnect the gas bottle from the device before performing
any maintenance work.
•
Store the device indoors during the winter months. Avoiding extremely
cold temperatures prevents frost damage.
•
Make sure that there are no flammable materials inside. Check the burner
for any visible blockages and keep the gas bottle compartment free of
debris.
• Remove light soiling, loose dirt and earth with a soft brush as soon as the
device and the lava stones have cooled down completely. Rub them with a
soft cloth.
•
Extreme weather conditions can lead to stubborn stains, discolouration
and rust. Permanent damage can occur if cleaning powders or solutions
come into contact with the painted or plastic components of the device.
•
Make sure that the device is not exposed to direct sunlight when it is
stored. Remove the gas bottle from the gas bottle compartment if the
device is to be stored indoors.
• Spare parts not recommended by the manufacturer can damage the
device and void the warranty.
•
If desired, cover the device to protect the external surfaces and prevent
debris from building up in the air ducts.
Note:
Wait for the device to cool down completely before covering it.
