Leak test
Before performing a leak test, make sure that there are no sparks and that you
are in a spacious outdoor area.
Connect the propane gas bottle to the gas pressure regulator and turn the
valve on the device to the "OFF" position. Spray or brush all connections with a
soapy solution. Turn on the gas supply. If bubbles appear at any port, there may
be a leak. If you smell gas or discover a leak, turn off the gas valve, disconnect
the gas cylinder from the device, and do not use the device until the leak has
been repaired.
Do not use the gas fire pit without checking the gas hose. Replace the hose if it
shows signs of wear or tear.
Instructions for use
Pumice stones / lava stones / lava glass can jump out when the device is ignited
and hit bystanders in the face. Stay away from the device for the first 20
minutes after lighting.
The flame height should be yellow / blue in colour and between 5-25 cm high.
Wait 50 minutes after the flame has gone out before placing a lid (if present) or
protective cover on the device.
