Do you have any vacuum reading on the vacuum gauge when the machine is turned off?

Close dump valves.
Are the gaskets in the waste tank in good condition?
Replace Gaskets.

Are there any cracks or splits in the waste tank?
Remove the filter on the waste tank.
Is the filter clean and not crushed?
Clean or replace filter.
