Machine guards and safety systems
Before starting the machine, remember that it is provided with the following set of “safety devices” for your protection:
•
Adequate safety guards that provide protection against accidental contact with the machine’s heated surfaces.
•
Spark-plug cover in nylon or rubber that provides protection against accidental contact with the machine’s high-
voltage electrical parts.
•
Rod-engine connection case equipped with vibration damping rubber.
•
Vibration-damping provided on grip or handle-bar cross.
•
Amply-sized safety guards and protection barriers.
•
Safety belts in non-inflammable material equipped with quick-snap release buckles to immediately discard the
machines
•
Gas control knob lever with double safety.

1.7 Inappropriate use and contraindications
The unit must be used for the purposes of use foreseen by the manufacturer, and it is forbidden to use the unit in the
following cases:
•
Without the indicated protective guards (see par. 1.3) and/or with the safety trigger disassembled, broken or
missing (see par. 1.5),
•
Setting up of the earth auger in discordance with the indications of the manual,
•
in areas with risks of explosion or in places where there exists the risk of fires,for operating the unit on materials
different from those advised be the manufacturer,
•
in conditions of dangerousness or malfunctioning of the machine,
•
for improper use of the machine or when used by untrained personnel,
•
for use contrary to the adopted regulations,
•
in case of defects / malfunctioning in the fuel feeding of the engine,
•
in case of lack of the regular maintenance,
•
after modifications or non-authorized operations,
•
partial or total failure to comply with the manual instructions,
•
use with materials and tools different from those indicated by the manufacturer.
