System shuts suddenly down (oil temperature alarm)
System shuts suddenly down (Protective motor switch alarm)
Potential reasons
Actions
Oil level too low.
•
Refill oil (refer to chapter 5.2 "
Checking
and topping up the oil level"
).
Oil filter is clogged.
•
Replace oil filter cartridge.
Ambient temperature is too high.
•
Improve the room ventilation.
•
Select a cooler location.
Oil cooler is dirty.
•
Clean the oil cooler.
Dust preliminary filter is dirty.
•
Clean dust preliminary filter.
The cooling air volume is not available or too
low.
•
The space between fan and wall is to
small (cf. chapter 3.1 “Mounting condi-
tions”).
•
Check the fan cowl opening for soiling,
and clean, if and when necessary.
•
Press reset key oil temperature alarm 30
to restart the compressor.
Potential reasons
Actions
Fault at the electric connection.
•
Check the electric connection for under-
voltage and phase failure.
•
Check the conductor cross section.
The clamping connections have come lose.
•
Retighten the clamping connections.
The motor has broken down.
•
Check the electric system and the cables.
•
Replace the motor.
•
Press reset key "Protective motor switch
alarm 31" to restart the compressor.
