VALVE REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
TO BE DONE BY QUALIFIED
PERSONNEL ONLY
1.
Turn off the gas valve,
disconnect the gas and
electricity to the appliance.
2. Remove safety screen trim.

TRIM REMOVAL
)
3.
If the optional log set is being
used note locations, remove,
and set aside.
4. Undo the inlet gas lines from
valve. (
Fig.19
)
5.
Disconnect all electrical
connections to valve
including ground wire.
6. Back-off the four screws on
the two brackets holding the
valve. (
Fig.20
)
7.
Lift the valve up and out.
8. Installation is the reverse
order of the previous steps.
NOTE: WHEN INSTALLING A
NEW VALVE, CHECK THAT ALL
UNUSED PORTS ARE PLUGGED.
CHECK OUTLET PRESSURE
(3.8”W.C.)
