repair service including a pick-up service.
If you want to use this service, you may request a
pick-up service for your device via the Internet.

We provide a manufacturer's warranty for prod-
ucts bought within the European Union. For de-
vices purchased outside the European Union,
the warranty terms issued by our respective re-
sponsible domestic agency are valid.

AF – Alternative frequency
The range of FM stations is limited. For this rea-
son, FM programmes are distributed to different
frequencies. The AF RDS service sends these
frequencies to the tuner. If the vehicle leaves the
reception area of a frequency, the tuner can au-
tomatically change to the best receivable alterna-
tive frequency of the programme you listened to.
Bluetooth®
Bluetooth®
is a wireless radio communication for
short distances. This technology allows for trans-
mitting voice and data between devices, e.g. car
sound system and cell phone.
Broadcasting network
A broadcasting network is the offer of several
stations with different programmes of a broad-
casting station.
EON – Enhanced Other Network
In case of a traffi c announcement, the device
switches over from a non-traffi c information sta-
tion to a traffi c information station of the same
station chain. After the traffi c announcement,
the system switches back to the previously heard
programme.
ID3 tags
ID3 tags contain additional information for MP3
fi les (e.g. artist, title, album, genre, year).
Mass storage device
Format for storage media that can permanently
store large amounts of data, such as USB remov-
able storage devices (USB stick or USB hard
disk).
MP3, WMA
MP3 and WMA are audio data formats that allow
for high compression with little loss in quality.
