Hide an application in the applications list
You cannot hide the Options and Turn Wireless On/Turn Wireless Off applications.
1. In the applications list, click Organize Applications.
2. Highlight the application that you want to hide.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Hide Application.
To show the application again in the applications list, highlight the hidden application. Press the Menu
key. Click Show Application.
Hide an application on the Home screen
If your theme displays all applications as icons on the Home screen and does not use an applications
list, you can hide icons on the Home screen. You cannot hide the Options and Turn Wireless On/Turn
Wireless Off applications.
1. On the Home screen, highlight the application that you want to hide.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Click Hide Application.
To show the application again on the Home screen, press the Menu key. Click Show All. Highlight the
application. Press the Menu key. Click Hide Application.
Display troubleshooting
My device screen turns off
When you do not use your BlackBerry® device for a period of time, the screen turns off to conserve
battery power.
• To turn on the screen, press a key.
My display settings changed
Depending on your theme, items that you have set, such as your font and Home screen background
picture might change when you select a new theme.
1. After you change your theme, reset your font and Home screen background picture.
