Cascade connections
Depending on the model, the ServSwitch Duo
IPC supports up to eight or up to sixteen
directly
connected computer systems, however, this is
by no means the limit. Thanks to an intelligent
communication system, called
Port Direct
, many
more computers can be controlled by connecting
other KVM switches to the ServSwitch Duo IPC. The
combination of switches can be arranged up to four
levels deep forming a tree, or
cascade
arrangement,
with computers situated at any level.
