Procedure:
To select a configuration task, type the corresponding code number;
the MiniStat-Four will switch to the corresponding screen.
Type
Q
to return to the main menu.
3. X-ON CONTROL CHARACTER Screen
Purpose:
View the character currently used to start data transfer when using
software flow control, and select, if desired, another character.
Description:
Code numbers 1 through 8 present the various hexadecimal characters that can
be used as X-ON control characters: 11H (ASCII DC1), 12H (DC2), 13H (DC3),
14H (DC4), 91H, 92H, 93H, or 94H.
The CURRENT STATE line shows the X-ON character now in use.
Procedure:
To change the current selection, type the code number corresponding to the
desired character; always check that this character is different from the current
X-OFF control character. The CURRENT STATE line reflects the change.
To exit with or without change, type
Q
. You will return to the SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION menu.
4. X-OFF CONTROL CHARACTER Screen
Purpose:
View the character currently used to stop data transfer when using
software flow control, and select, if desired, another character.
Description:
