Indicator or Connector
Function
10/100 Ethernet port
This port is an autosensing RJ-45 female
Lnk/Act LED
When the Link/Act LED is on, the switch’s
respective port is connected to the network.
When the Link/Act LED is blinking, the port is
transmitting or receiving data on the Ethernet
network.
When the Link/Act LED is off, no link is
connected.
Act LED
When this LED is on, the server is receiving data
packets.
When this LED is off, the server is transmitting or
receiving RS-232/422/485 data packets.
100 LED
When the 100 Mbps LED is on, the switch’s
respective twisted-pair port is connected to a
Fast Ethernet network.
When the 100 Mbps LED is off, the switch’s
respective port is connected to a 10-Mbps
Ethernet port.
Sys LED
When the CPU is working, the System LED
blinks.
When this LED is continuously on or off, the
CPU is not working.
DB9 female serial port
Connect the console to this port.
