Problem:
The VGA image is not clear.
Solution:
You may be using poor quality VGA cables. Make sure you are using UL
®
2919 rated, double-shielded VGA cables.
Problem:
The quality of video is bad or the picture is grainy.
Solution:
1. Use the brightness and contrast settings.
2. Use the auto adjustment feature to correct a flickering video.
3. Read and use
Section 6.6
.
4. Also, try the “Auto everything” button on the “Video Tuning” menu.
5. Display the test pattern on the host and use “Auto Everything.”
6. Try a lower refresh rate (60 Hz is best).
7. Enable the noise filter and set to higher value.
8. Use lower resolution if possible (1024 x 768).
9. Reduce number of colors (8-bit or 16-bit color instead of 24/32).
10. Use a better quality video card.
Problem:
No OSD screen or screen image appears.
Solution:
You may have selected a powered-off computer. Use the push buttons to
select a computer that is powered on.
Problem:
There is a keyboard error on boot.
Solution:
You may have a loose keyboard connection. Make sure your keyboard
cables are well-seated.
