B.1 REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIMODE FIBER CABLE

A mulitmode fiber cable should meet the following requirements:

Maximum length should be 1640 feet (500 meters). The ACX310F-R2 and ACXFIA-R2 include a mulitmode fiber optic SFP module

that allows a transmission distance of up to 1640 feet (500 meters).

Dedicated fiber connection cable type: duplex multimode 50/125μ (OM2), LC connector

Wavelength of 850 nm for multimode

B.2 REQUIREMENTS FOR SINGLE-MODE FIBER CABLE

A single-mode fiber cable should meet the following requirements:

Up to 12.4 miles (20 km) transmission distance.

Requires a dedicated fiber connection: cable type: duplex single-mode with LC connector

Wavelength of 1310 nm TX -1550 nm RX for single-mode
