Direct charge
The Direct charge light should be green when
the charger is connected directly into the
charging socket on the unit, with power to the
charger. If it does not light up then check with a
new charger, if this doesn’t work then check
the connection of the switch/charger module
with the main PCB and replace if necessary.
Go to Switch & Charger
Bumper sensors
Push the front bumper on the left side then
right and finally centre. The L Bumper light
should show green when the left is pushed, R
Bumper when right side is pushed and both
should light when the centre is pushed. If there
is no light then check the bumper actuators are
making contact with the micro switch for the
relevant side, if they are then check the micro
switch connection and replace if faulty.
Go to Bumper & IR
Ground test
With the unit flat on a surface the L Side Down
and R Side Down lights should both be green.
Lifting the unit fully clear of the surface should
cause both left and right wheels to extend and
both lights should go out. If the lights do not
illuminate
or turn off then check the
movement of the relevant wheel.
