Have any damaged or defective parts

cord for signs of damage, ageing and
wear.

supply cord or mains plug is damaged

is damaged or defective it must be
repaired by an authorised repair agent

Electrical safety
This tool is double insulated
in accordance with EN 60335;
therefore no earth wire is
required. Always check that

Assembly
Warning!
Make sure that the appliance is
switched off and unplugged.
Interlocking the blades (fig. B and C)
The blades must be locked together
before they are inserted into the knife
handle.

Hold the ends of the blade shafts
behind the guard (5) and slip the rivet
(9) on the tip of the rear blade through
the hole in the other blade.
X
Slide the rivet forward in the slot.
X
Bring the blades together making sure
that the tips remain locked.
X
Slide the blade sheath (8), over the
assembled blades.
X
Only use the appliance with two
interlocked blades.
Inserting the blades into the handle
(fig. A)
Warning!
Switch off the appliance before
changing accessories or approaching parts
which move in use
Warning!
Do not plug in the appliance
before the blades are correctly inserted into
the knife handle.

Make sure that the blades (6 or 7) are
correctly interlocked and the blade
sheath (8) is fitted over the blades.
X
Hold the assembled blades by the
guard (5).
X
Slide the blade shafts into the slots (4)
in the knife handle (2). Make sure that
the blades click into place.
