To wake-up the xxpress
®
NGx, press the blue Power On/Off Button
on the front panel once. The xxpress
®
NGx will wake up, run a self-
test and initialise its system. Figure 1 is the
HOME
screen. Once this
screen is visible the xxpress
®
NGx is ready to use. You can always
return to this screen by touching the logo in the bottom left
corner of the screen.

From the
HOME
screen it is possible to create new experiments, run
previously designed experiments, and analyse the results of
previously run experiments. For each of the operations the
xxpress
®
NGx will guide the user through the steps required.

To check the software version running on the xxpress
®
NGx , go to
the
HOME
screen and touch the xxpress
®
NGx logo in the bottom left
corner of the screen. A pop-up window will appear listing the version
and the software licence terms. See Figure 2.
