Connecting a discharge gas temperature
sensor
Protection device P Fuchs KFD2-GUT-Ex1.D
(or device with identical functions) required.
• Connect the discharge gas temperature sensor (see
chapter Mounting, page 20, "Simple electrical equip-
ment") according to the schematic wiring diagram
(see chapter Schematic wiring diagrams OS.(A)74.-
EX, page 26).
• Break point 105°C.
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to hot surfaces!
The surface temperature of 130°C must not be
exceeded at any point!
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to an incorrectly connec-
ted discharge gas temperature sensor!
Only use a discharge gas temperature sensor
suitable for the use in a potentially explosive at-
mosphere and connect it together with the sec-
tion switch amplifier!
5.4
Oil flow switch
with Reed contact. Included in the oil injection kit.
• Incorporate the oil flow switch (see chapter Mount-
ing, page 20, "Simple electrical equipment") into the
circuit according the the schematic wiring diagram.
• Use the control device OFC for bridging the oil flow
switch when starting the system (20 s) and in case of
lack of oil for less than 3 seconds (see chapter
Schematic wiring diagrams OS.(A)74.-EX, page
26).
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to an incorrectly connec-
ted oil flow switch!
Only use an oil flow switch which is suitable for
the use in a potentially explosive atmosphere
and connect it together with the section switch
amplifier!
5.5
Thermostat at the ECO suction line
• Break point max. 105°C
• Incorporate the thermostat (see chapter Mounting,
page 20, "Simple electrical equipment") into the in-
trinsically safe circuit according to the schematic wir-
ing diagram.
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to high temperatures at
the ECO suction line!
During operation while the economiser / liquid
injection is switched off, there may be inadmiss-
ible high temperatures at the ECO suction line.
Monitor the temperature of the ECO suction line
with a thermostat!
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to an incorrectly connec-
ted oil thermostat at the ECO suction line!
Only use a thermostat which is suitable for the
use in a potentially explosive atmosphere and
connect it together with the section switch amp-
lifier!
