• Note: No heater sleeve available. Relieve the vessel
of pressure before opening it, for example by extract-
ing its contents!
• Remove plug and seal (see chapter Connections,
• Insert a new aluminium seal and screw down the oil
heater. Tightening torque 90 Nm (M22).

• Remove sight glass and seal.
• Insert a new seal and the explosion-proof heater.
Make sure that the heating element is facing down-
wards.
• Mount the heater with the flange. Tighten the screws
crosswise in at least two steps. Tightening torque 18
Nm (6 x M10).

Mounting the oil level switch
• see chapter Mounting, page 16, "Simple electrical
apparatuses".
• Relieve the vessel of pressure before opening it, for
example by extracting its contents!
• Remove the sealing nut and the old seal (see
chapter Connections, page 17, position 8).
• Insert a new seal.
• Mount the oil level switch with the float ball facing
downwards.
• Screw on the union nut. For the tightening torque,
see Maintenance Instructions DW-100.

Connect the protection devices according to the
schematic wiring diagrams indicated in the Operating
Instructions SB-509.
Observe the manufacturer’s documentation of the com-
ponents used!
Compare the specifications on the name plates with the
specifications of the existing power supply system.
Connect the device only if the specifications on the
name plates match the existing power supply system.
