Requirements
The Blue Ink Tech app runs on Android and Apple devices.
Your device must support Bluetooth 4.0 (also known as Bluetooth Smart and Bluetooth Low Energy)
to communicate with the ELD adapter.
Your device must be able to communicate over the Internet during a roadside safety inspection.
This is because the safety official may request that you send your logs to them
electronically while
at roadside. This will be possible if your device has cellular capabilities and an active data plan or if
you have a wireless hotspot device that will allow your device to communicate over the Internet
while stopped for a roadside inspection. A device that only supports a Wi-Fi connection with no
means of communicating over the Internet while stopped for a roadside inspection will not be
acceptable.
