clearing clogs

Reduced suction or poor pickup may 

be due to a clog in the vacuum. if you 

notice a change in the sound of the 

vacuum motor, check for clogs.
1.

  Turn power OFF. Unplug power cord from 

electrical outlet. 

2.

  Empty dirt container and check upper tank 

and suction inlet for a clog. 

3.

  Grasp the curved wand and separate it 

from the hose wand base. Check for a 

clog in the base, the wand or in the hose.  

4.

  Remove the Twist ’n Snap hose from 

the vacuum by turning it to the right. 

Straighten the hose and unclog with a 

long, narrow object such as a broom 

stick. 

5.

  If you notice debris clogged in the con-

necting tube, remove it by pulling it out at 

the top and lifting the tube out. Clean the 

tube of any debris, and clear any possible 

clog from the port to the pre-motor filter. 

Reattach tube bottom by first installing the 

base and then push in the top of the tube. 

6.

  If the clog persists, follow instructions for 

checking and rotating brush and drive  

belt on page 9 and inspect the air  

passageway for obstructions. 

Replace headlight

1.

  Turn power OFF. Unplug power cord from 

electrical outlet. 

2.

  Using a flat head screwdriver or coin, pry 

tab on the left and right side out and pull 

out cover to remove lens. 

3.

  Remove the bulb by grasping the bulb 

and pulling gently. Replace with new bulb 

by pushing it gently into the socket until 

the bulb snaps into place.

4.

  Reposition lens and snap both ends back 

into place.
