SCOPE OF INSTRUCTION
This manual covers general information and instructions concerning the following
issues:

Design features,

Operational guide,

Machining examples,

Inspection and maintenance,

Work safety conditions.

APPLICATION
Super spacers are designed for precision, equal or unequal spacing for milling,
drilling and related machining operations.
3. DESIGN FEATURES
3.1. Indexing
There are three ways of indexing with the spacer:
a) basic indexing
b) angular indexing
c) alternative indexing
Basic indexing - which is done by means of catch device and permits divisions in 2, 3, 4,
6, 8, 12 and 24,
Angular indexing - which can be performed through sleeve 2 with scale (refer to Fig. 5)
graduated in 360° in 1° increments.
Alternative indexing – which can be performed by means of catch device and specified
changeable dividing plate (with Z=13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 or 23 number of
divisions). To obtain required number of divisions replace Z=24 plate with one of above
specified plates.
