Unit will not power on
If powering by PoE, ensure your network switch hardware is
capable of PoE/PoE+ power delivery.
If powering via DC please ensure the supplied DC power pack is
securely plugged in at both ends.
Can not see BirdDog on network
Ensure your network has a DHCP server, these are commonly part
of your Internet router hardware.
Can not see BirdDog as a source
If BirdDog does not appear as a selectable video source in your
application it may be because it is not currently receiving a valid
video signal, please ensure you are delivering a compatible video
signal and reboot the device or press restart video in the web
console.
Firmware update did not complete
If your firmware update did not complete successfully it may be
because the unit could not access the Internet to verify the update
completely, please try again on a network that has access to the
Internet.
Video is not smooth or corrupted
If your video is not looking correct please change the video input
settings from Auto to Manual in the web interface and force the
required input format.
