4.4.8 System Commands 

This  section  is  for  sending  system  commands  to  the  device  such  as  reboot, 
shutdown etc.

 

Create  Diagnostic  Report 

function

 

generates  a  diagnostics  report  for  analysis. 

When the report is created, a link is generated, which can be used to download the 
report.  

To  ensure  data  consistency,  it  is  recommended  that  you  power  off  the  BNCU 
through the web interface (system page) using the 

Shutdown

 function. Cutting off 

the power supply directly from the BNCU may cause data inconsistency or loss. 

Reboot

  function  can  be  used  in  the  event  of  a  communication  problem  with  the 

BioTector.  For  testing  or  during  any  software  upgrade  procedures, 

Fast  Reboot

 

can be used as the system will not wait at the default IP address for 100 seconds. 

Convert to BNCU-Master/Slave

 function allows the user to convert a Master unit 

to a Slave or vice versa.  

 

4.4.9 Database Commands 

The 

Clear  Reaction Archive

  and 

Clear  Fault  Archive

  functions  can  be  used  to 

clear the archives when necessary. 

The 

Database  reset

  function  will  reset  all  passwords,  languages,  clear  reaction 

and faults archives etc.
