Optimizing Performance

Mobile Phase Priming

Mobile Phase Priming

ELSD-A120 does not require any mobile phase priming, other than 

that required to prime the solvent through the Isolera system. It is 

recommended that priming of the Isolera system be performed 

without ELSD-A120 attached, to prevent non-volatile impurities 

contaminating the detector.

If operating in reversed-phase mode, the mobile phase should be 

degassed and filtered, either by sparging with Helium or using 

sonication.
