body temperature, the mode BODY must be selected. If the
thermometer is in SURFACE or ROOM mode, the displayed reading
indicates the external temperature released by your body.
- The screen displays the message HI :
the analysed temperature is
above the range of the selected mode, i.e. greater than 42.9°C / 109.2°F
in BODY mode, or 60°C / 140°F in SURFACE mode.
- The screen displays the message LO :
The analysed temperature
is below the measuring range of the selected mode, i.e. less than
32°C / 89.6°F) in BODY mode and less than 0°C / 32°F in SURFACE mode.
